~Certified advanced Ashaya Yoga Instructor~

My Story

Grace is a long-time yoga practitioner and anatomy-enthusiast with a deep commitment to physical and mental health. Functional movement and healthy physical alignment are keystones in both her personal life and career as a long-time yoga teacher, trained massage therapist and a certified Anatomy Trains Structural Integration therapist.

Her goal is to support others to rediscover a more balanced, easeful and functional body. She has a keen and trained eye for structural imbalances and works diligently with her clients to help them to realign their body and rediscover a more conscious awareness of their own body's alignment and easeful function. She works carefully with her clients to discover postural and functional imbalances that may be contributing to pain, discomfort, lack of endurance or lack of ease in the body. Her enthusiasm and confidence in the Structural Integration approach comes through in precise touch, thorough treatments and her commitment to the work.

She first began her dive into the world of bodywork, over 15 years ago, with her in-depth yoga training through Anusara and Ashaya yoga practices, both which lean heavily on supportive physical alignment as a core principle of the practice. Grace dedicated hundreds of hours to her study of anatomy and yoga therapeutics under inspiring and renowned teachers, including John Friend, Todd Norian, Noah Maze, Ellen Saltonstall and Martin Kirk.

She began her bodywork studies with Thai yoga massage in 2010, followed by Massage School at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy from 2019 to 2021. Her studies included traditional western massage, Hydrotherapy, Cupping, Rock taping, and Cranial Sacral therapy. Though deeply committed to the path of massage therapy, Grace felt that her vision of the relationships and physiological framework of the body was far better supported by the Structural Integration model, specifically the renowned work of Anatomy Trains creator and director, Thomas Myers. Grace graduated from Anatomy Trains school of Structural Integration in Maine, USA in June of 2023. She offers full Structural Integration12-series, as well as 3-series or single session treatments.
